Programs & Activities
BKA combines kidney-health education with practical support and community engagement.

Medication Assistance Program
Created in response to the financial burden of kidney care, BKA’s medication-assistance work has supported enrolled kidney patients when funding, supplies and partnerships are available. Current eligibility, medicines and capacity may change.

Patient Education & Community Support
BKA has provided kidney-health educational sessions and patient-focused community support. The goal is to help people affected by kidney disease access useful information, encouragement and connections to current resources.
Community Awareness & Screening
Public education, health-awareness events, community partnerships and screening activities help bring kidney health into everyday conversations and encourage people to speak with healthcare providers about their risks.
Schools & Youth Engagement
BKA has engaged students through peer education and kidney-health competitions designed to encourage young people to learn about prevention and share that knowledge with others.
